Webcomics are a great way to start! Especially when a young person feels somewhat unseen by day-to-day media. I remember reading so many webcomics back when I was 20 years old or so, because it was the only way to read a story where my desires and feelings were represented. These stories encouraged me to make my own… and so, Go Get a Roomie! was born, and more followed!
Go Get a Roomie!
A queer and light-hearted webcomic that started in 2010, and ended in 2020, with more than 1.400 comic strips to read! Roomie the hippie loves the ladies, and the beers, while Lillian the dreamer loves sleeping and being left alone.
Somehow, their lives will meet and connect, along with many other friends and lovers alike.
Headless Bliss
An ambitious comic featuring demons and creatures and a cannibal missing a leg (and carrying her sister’s head around).
In hiatus indefinitely, though the story itself is being reworked completely so as to breathe new life into it…
Little Tiny Things
Pia finds themselves living alone in the countryside. The good news is: bugs! The bad news is: it can get pretty lonely. Luckily, there are many neighbors to meet. All have their quirks and troubles, some more so than others.
